Rookie

I don't know how exactly I was talked into growing pumpkins but being a first timer it certainly has opened my eyes to whole new experience. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would have to be a surrogate to pumpkin growing or that there was so much involved. With that being said here are a couple of pictures of where I am at currently with my pumpkin growing experience.

2 Jul, came back from vacation and found blooming male flower and these two developing female flowers. The female flower on the right bloomed and was hand pollinated on 4 Jul 2007. the second female flower bloomed and was hand pollinated on 6 Jul.

This is the size of the two pumpkins on 9 Jul
